What's actually in each engagement

The one-pager gives you the price and the timeline. This is the rest of it: what happens week to week, what you walk away with, and who each tier is really built for.

TIER 1

Process Audit / Quick-Win Sprint

$1,500–$3,000 fixed · 1–2 weeks

One process, mapped properly, with a clean SOP library at the end of it. This is the low-risk first step: no long contract, no big commitment, just a real look at where one process is actually losing time.

How it runs

  • 01 Kickoff call, 30 minutes: we pick the one process worth mapping and agree on scope.
  • 02 I map the current state: how the process actually runs, not how the SOP says it runs, using a walkthrough (video or in person) plus whatever data you already have.
  • 03 I identify the top 3–5 waste points and rough out what each one is likely costing you.
  • 04 Findings call, 30–45 minutes: we walk through the map, the waste points, and the new SOPs together.

What you get

  • A current-state process map, drawn from what's actually happening on the floor
  • Your top 3–5 waste points, ranked by impact
  • A clean, ready-to-use SOP library for that process
  • One findings walkthrough call

Good fit if

One specific process is clearly costing you time or errors, and nobody's had the bandwidth to properly map and fix it.

Not the right fit if

Several interconnected processes need to change at once, or the fix isn't obvious even once the problem is mapped. That's Tier 2.

TIER 2

DMAIC Improvement Project

$8,000–$20,000 fixed · 4–8 weeks

A full Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control engagement on a defined problem. This is where the real engagement happens: a fix that's actually tested before it's called done, plus a way to keep the gains from eroding once I'm gone.

How it runs

  • 01 Define: scope the problem, agree on what success actually looks like in numbers.
  • 02 Measure: baseline your current performance so we know exactly where we started.
  • 03 Analyze: find the real root cause, not the first plausible explanation.
  • 04 Improve: design the fix, pilot it, and adjust based on what actually happens.
  • 05 Control: build the tracking so the improvement holds after the engagement ends, not just for the first month.

What you get

  • Full DMAIC documentation, in plain language, not just a slide deck
  • A written root-cause analysis, so you know exactly why the problem existed
  • A piloted and validated fix, tested before it's called finished
  • A control plan or tracking dashboard so the gains don't quietly erode in three months

Good fit if

You've got a known, costly problem where the fix isn't obvious, or where a previous attempt to fix it didn't actually stick.

Not the right fit if

You haven't run a Tier 1 audit yet and aren't sure which process is actually the priority. Start there first.

TIER 3

Fractional CI Retainer

$3,000–$6,000 per month · ongoing

Ongoing monthly access: KPI review and improvement-project oversight, for clients who've already worked with me on Tier 1 or Tier 2. This isn't a cold offer, it's for a relationship that's already proven out.

What's included

  • A monthly KPI review call against the metrics that matter to your operation
  • Ongoing oversight of any improvement projects in flight
  • Direct access between calls for quick questions, not routed through an account manager
  • A quarterly deeper-dive session to reassess the roadmap

Why it exists

  • A single audit or project fixes one thing. A retainer keeps a second set of eyes on the floor as things change.
  • Most operations don't need a full-time Black Belt on staff. This gives you one, fractionally, at a fraction of the cost.
  • Priced to fit a relationship that's already earned trust, not to win a cold client.

Good fit if

We've already worked together on a Tier 1 or Tier 2 engagement and there's ongoing operational complexity worth a standing outside perspective.

Not the right fit if

This is your first time reaching out. Tier 3 isn't offered cold, start with Tier 1.
